Old Quarter
Our tour will continue with Hanoi Old Quarter with 36 bustling streets. Wandering around the narrow alleys of Hanoi Old Quarter, tourists can see many ancient houses preserving their original charm since 19th century. Enjoy a cup of egg coffee, a specialty of Hanoi. Egg coffee is a perfect combination of dark coffee and fat egg.

Ancient House
The next destination in our trip is Ancient House, This house in the Old Quarter was restored in 1999, as an example of an ancient Hanoian home. It represents the architecture of the Old Quarter, and is decorated to reflect ancient houses of Hanoi.

Long Bien Bridge
The Long Bien bridge across the Red River connects Hanoi with the main port of Haiphong. Designed by Gustave Eiffel, the bridge sustained significant damage during the Vietnam War. Only half of the bridge retains its original shape, but a rebuilding project supported by the French government is currently in progress to restore the bridge to its original appearance.

Dong Xuan Market
Dong Xuan market was constructed in Hanoi's Old Quarter, only 600meters north of Hoàn Kiếm Lake. The covered area of the market was about 6.500 m² with a large roof of corrugated galvanised iron supplied by the French contractor Poinsard Veyret. The most recognizable feature of the market was the 5-arch entrance corresponding to Dong Xuan Market's five domes, each dome was measured 19 meters in height and 25 meters in width.
Nowadays, the market is run by the Đồng Xuân Shareholding Company, its three stories are divided in stalls for wholesale and small traders who sell clothes or household goods, foodstuffs of every kind from fresh vegetables to Vietnamese dishes are also found at the rear of the market.

Train Street
Hanoi Train Street is a residential street in Hanoi, Vietnam that a speeding train passes straight through twice a day. Our tour will continue with Train Street. The street is so narrow that all residents must ensure their bikes and precious personal belongings, as well as their roaming children, are all safely inside the house before the train passes.

St. Joseph's Cathedral
St. Joseph's Cathedral, Hanoi is a church on Nha Chung Street in the Hoàn Kiếm District of Hanoi, Vietnam. It is a late 19th-century Gothic Revival (Neo-Gothic style) church that serves as the cathedral of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Hanoi. The cathedral was named after Joseph, the patron saint of Vietnam.
Construction began in 1886, with the architectural style described as resembling Notre Dame de Paris. The church was one of the first structures built by the French colonial government in Indochina when it opened in December 1886. It is the oldest church in Hanoi

Hanoi Opera House is an opera house in central Hanoi, Vietnam. It was erected by the French colonial administration between 1901 and 1911. Hanoi Opera House is one of three opera houses that the French built during their time in Indochina, the others are Haiphong Opera House and Municipal Theatre in Ho Chi Minh city.

Established and operated by the Vietnam Women’s Union, the Vietnamese Women’s Museum officially opened its doors to public in 1995. The four-storey building is in Hanoi, Ly Thuong Kiet Street, situated along the central Hoan Kiem Lake and old quarter. It underwent renovation between 2006 and 2010. It functions as a gender museum and research centre that provides knowledge on the historical and cultural heritage of Vietnamese women among the nation’s 54 ethnic communities. By featuring women as its central theme, it illuminates the significant roles and contributions of Vietnamese women in the historical and cultural development of Vietnam.
