Motorbike City Tours

6:00AM Our female drivers and tour guide wearing traditional dress – Ao Dai of Motorbike City Tours will meet you at your hotel lobby for a safety briefing and detailed itinerary. We use a fleet of brand new Honda Lead scooters equipped with PASSENGER BACKRESTS for comfort, you feel like you are in a lounge chair, not hanging on tightly as some bikes you may do. We will then enjoy our journey to the landmarks of Hanoi and the hidden gems of this historic city.

Long Bien Bridge

The first stage of our Hanoi Sunrise Motorbike Tours take you through the winding labyrinth of alleys and back streets that make up the heart of Hanoi. This offers you a truly authentic glimpse into the lives of the locals and takes you through a route that is far from the beaten path. We will travel through the back streets in the Old Quarter to reach the Long Bien bridge, an iconic symbol of the Vietnamese capitol built during the French colonial time over 100 years ago.

The first stage of our Hanoi Countryside Jeep Tours, we ride out of Hanoi and cruise along the bank of the Red River. Cooling breezes off the water make for a pleasant drive along the roads as you get to view the scenic countryside as the noise from the city fades into the background. Our first stop is an 800 year old village that embodies a beautiful historic example of one of the traditional villages that used to populate the Vietnamese countryside. Housed there you will get to see the old village gate, pagoda, temple, and communal house. As we explore the village, you’ll see the thriving life within, and see how to locals work, play, and pray. You’ll be introduced to a local family and join them for some tea and candy with your guide acting as a translator.

West Lake

The second stage of our Hanoi Moped Tours takes you out of the hustle and bustle of the city, you’ll be welcomed into the more quiet and contemplative side of Hanoi. Surrounded by green gardens with farmland stretching in all directions, you’ll enter the canopy of guava and banana trees as our tour leads you down dirt paths into the heart of Hanoi’s agricultural countryside- The Banana island .

On third stage of our Hanoi Countryside Jeep Tours, you’ll be taken through the zig-zagging village alleys as we arrive at the heart of the local farmland. Agriculture is still a thriving part of the Vietnamese economy, and nothing exemplifies this more clearly than exploring the thriving farmland near the villages. We will visit Hoi Phu village which is famous for making broomsticks as a decent way to make a living, a popular traditional craft in Red River delta. Guests will watch our talented broom makers create functional and beautiful broomsticks using broom grass.

Huu Tiep Lake and the Downed B-52

On the night of December 27, 1972 during the “Hanoi-Dien Bien Phu in the air” campaign, a B-52 bomber was shot down by Vietnamese soldiers and part of it landed where it still remains today in Huu Tiep Lake in Ngoc Ha Ward, Ba Dinh District.

The last stage of our Hanoi Countryside Jeep Tours concludes with a visit to an authentic Vietnamese restaurant. Here you’ll get to enjoy fresh Vietnamese cuisine with diverse traditional dishes and local specialties and a local café, a famous spot for Vietnamese egg coffee. Or we may enjoy yummy Mango and Caramel Pudding dessert in place popular with locals. We will drop you off back to your hotel, or a place within reasonable distance within Hanoi.

Our trip takes us to the hundred-year-old Reunification railroad track, which runs through the center of Hanoi and is barely inches from from local families' homes. This is a wonderful opportunity to immerse yourself in the hectic and fascinating local side of Hanoi.
